Meet Magic, the Ocala Police Department’s honorary officer with a heart as big as her adorable personality! Standing just two feet tall, Magic is a trained emotional support horse from the Gentle Carousel nonprofit. Her role at the department goes beyond just being cute—she’s part of their efforts to build stronger community connections.
Magic participates in various outreach programs, like the youth literacy initiative and even the police-run ice cream truck, spreading goodwill wherever she goes. Her gentle nature and calming presence make her the perfect addition to the team, helping to bridge the gap between officers and the community they serve.
She might be small, but Magic is making a big impact in Ocala, one friendly interaction at a time. 🐾
